Diane Phoenix
Founder & Executive Director
Diane Phoenix founded Girls STEAM Institute with a powerful vision—to create a space where girls feel seen, supported, and inspired to explore STEAM without limits.
Her leadership has helped build a community where education meets innovation, creativity meets technology, and girls gain the confidence to become future leaders.
Through her dedication to mentorship, access, and opportunity, Diane continues to champion a future where girls are empowered to lead boldly in every industry.
Program Director
Oversees educational programming, curriculum development, and student learning experiences across all Girls STEAM Institute initiatives.
Community Partnerships Director
Builds relationships with schools, nonprofits, corporate sponsors, and community organizations to expand impact.
STEAM Education Lead
Designs innovative STEAM-based workshops and hands-on learning opportunities for girls of all ages.
Student Success & Mentorship Coordinator
Supports mentorship programs, student engagement, and leadership development pathways.
Events & Experience Manager
Leads conferences, camps, showcases, competitions, and immersive learning experiences.
Media & Communications Director
Shares our story through content, digital media, social campaigns, and community storytelling.

Our mentors, educators, guest speakers, and industry professionals are at the heart of the Girls STEAM Institute experience.
